I am 5'7 and started IP at 230lbs. I was wearing a tight 16 pants and XL tops. The worst part was I carry my weight in front so I looked pregnant. I have now lost 40lbs and am wearing comfortable size 12 pants and loose L tops. My stomach looks relatively flat and I feel great! My bra size hasn't changed yet-I'm still in a 38DD but instead of over flowing I now have "breathing" room. ;)
This is a very inspiring link-thanks Carla! |

I started a tight 18 and now im a loose 13/14! Hoping to get back to my highschool 11! Or lower! And shirts I now fit into medium in most stores! Hope the weight loss on my lower half will catch up to the loss on my upper body!

I do the same thing. I am 3# away from my third pair. |
I started the ideal protein idet at 260lbs at age 25 back in May of 2010, I am 5'10 now at 175 fitting into a 12/14 jean size (depending on where I buy them) and a Medium/Large sized shirt. I feel absolutely wonderful, if anyone tells me that they cannot do this diet I tell them if I can do this anyone can do it!
Did anyone elses feet shrink when on this diet? I have all these cute shoes that dont fit! :) |
I started this program on August 24, 2010 and was wearing sizes 18-20 and 1X-2X tops.
Now I have said bye-bye to those sizes. I am able to shop at Reitman's and can fit into their regular size 14 pants. My tops are now a regular size 14. I have NOT wore these sizes in more than 20 years and I am thrilled. It is exciting to be able to shop at regular stores now and not just at the limited plus size stores here in Canada. Great forum!!!! L |
I love this thread. I just started IP as a tight 14 or 16 with XL tops. I am a shopper so this always bothered me. I cannot wait to see what size I am in a few months. I just want options to what I wear, not having to wear the only thing in the store that fits..ya know what I mean?

Before starting IP in July, wore a 2X shirt/blouse and a 20W in pants. I hated to shop and felt terrible. Now, I wear either a L or XL in a shirt/blouse and size 16 in pants. I know that I still have some to lose, but I feel so much better. Now, when I go shopping I don't trust myself and feel out of place in the store. I still am not confident in my accomplishments. I have went through a lot over the last 3-4 months and need to re-commit to the protocol. I hope to get back on track this week and continue in my journey to success.

I have been shopping in my closet and now fit into some of my clothes. I could not fit into any of the winter pants I own (size 18) until this diet and refused to buy any new ones. Size 1x tops, now I fit into XL.
I can't wait until I can shop in the normal section! |
I started out in a 16, and am now in a 10 in jeans/pants. I was in an XL, if not a 1X in tops, sweaters, etc., and now I'm in large, if not medium for a lot of things. I actually bought a medium winter coat that fits great, even over sweaters!

I am finally a lovely size 7-8 or 9-19 in jeans, tops medium. I used to be 15 in pants, and XL in tops I am so happy with this change!!
|
I started out at 200, wearing L-XL tops and size 16-18 pants. Now I'm around 180, wearing M-L tops and size 12-14 pants. I'm halfway to my goal weight, can't wait to see what happens when I reach my goal! :)

Although I'm at my highest weight, 208lbs, and 5'8", my sizes aren't very normal. I'm a medium in victoria's secret panties, and a large in VS tops, a medium in express leggings, a large in express tops. My jeans size is usually an eleven in juniors, sometimes a thirteen in tighter-styles. I feel like they should be bigger considering my weight and BMI? Does anyone know if this just means I have a small bone frame underneath all of this extra weight? What sizes should I be expecting after a fifty pound loss?
