Feel like I'm missing out

  • So today is day 3 for me and the more I read the more I feel like I'm missing out on stuff by using ideal to go instead of a clinic (none near me). So in the Wednesday thread today someone posted about an Ideal bootcamp he received info on. Huh? Didn't get that. Also, I've read when people phase out you're supposed to eat certain food combinations. What? Was that supposed to be included in my first food order too? Do I get it later as I progress? Hmmm you don’t know what you don't know until you have a question or read from someone else on the board so I didn't ask my virtual" coach" (yet). So am I missing pieces of the Ideal puzzle or do you receive more info as you progress? Thanks all!
  • Welcome to 3FC!!!

Sorry you feel a little lost. Many of us don't even go to clinics, we use this forum for our coaching...using alternative products, but that is another topic altogether.

If you look through the facts section or frequently asked questions, you may find some of the answers you are looking for. I know you will find information on what to eat when you are phasing down. You may not have recieved the information yet as you are not yet ready for the phase. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of IP to go will chime in.

You are not missing out! Ideal to go is the only clinic in the USA formally authorized to sell to anyone in any state in any area THAT DOES NOT HAVE A CLINIC. They are a real clinic.

In the past several people have successfully used them to reach goal.

You may not have heard "boot camp" because some clinics do not call it "boot camp". Boot camp is just this: Eat 3 unrestricted IP packets a day, eat your dinner, eat your 4 cups veggies and all your lettuce, drink a minimum of 80 oz water, and take your supplements. DO NOT use restricted packets and do not use occasional veggies.

Most people only do that 2 or 3 weeks. You can do it longer if you want but it is not necessary.

This year some things changed at IP and they allowed restricted packets from day 1 if it were what someone wanted and was reasonable or necessary for them. YOU AREN'T REQUIRED to have any though and you are not prohibited from having them either.

You will receive more information as you go through the phases about what food combinations and when to eat them so you may maintain your loss. It isn't necessary before then.

The Ideal To Go coaches have been well talked about on here for being responsive. I wouldn't worry about their support. Ask questions and they will answer.

In general, most people get the information tailored to their needs. For instance, if you aren't having constipation then your coach is probably not going to go over the modifications and tricks to keep things moving.

I hope that helps you feel better about your choice. You shouldn't have to worry about your clinic experience. In fact, some real clinics have done a greater disservice to clients than if they had gone your route!
  • Thanks! I was committed to continue regardless just wasn't sure if I should know more. I feel better now though and will set up a regular time to check in with my coach
