Smile Just started today!

Hi! I just started Ideal Protein today! So far so good...I've had the blueberry, cranberry and pomegranete drink and for lunch had the chicken soup which I mixed with steamed broccoli, cauliflower and mushrooms. I added some sea salt of course. It really wasn't bad! I've been running to the bathroom all day because of all of the water I've drank!

I'm looking forward to getting good tips, advice and motivation from this board!

I think that's a form of exercise for some of us!

Keep up the good work!

Funny Marion! Speaking of exercise...when is it okay to start excercising? My doctor said she doesn't want me to excercise and I'm having a bit of trouble understanding that! Does that mean never?

You have lost so much weight! Congratulations!

Hi and welcome!

Most coaches will say it is okay to be active after the first 3 weeks in a moderate HR zone. Check out Elizabeth's posts under Exercise, she is our guru. Your body is going through a pretty rigorous change right now and with less calories you can't perform as you used to. There is an Athletic protocol you can follow if you are very active, and it pretty much includes more packets.

Welcome to IP !!!

I have been exercising since day one as I was training before I started and I wanted to continue. It has slowed my weight loss but the inch loss has been incredible.

Best of luck keep us posted in your progress.

Hi all it's been a while since I posted. Glad to read that everyone is doing well. Can anyone answer this question, maybe one of the guys. Is this diet the same for men as it is for women? Do the men only get 5 oz of protein or 7 oz of fish etc? I know someone who is interested buy he does not think that the serving of protein is sufficient for a guy over 6ft and 250lbs.
