Question Pickles and Mineral Water

2nd day on Ideal Protein!
Not too bad, a couple of headaches only.

Couple of questions-
1. DILL Pickles - absolutely love'em. I have read on this forum that as long as they don't have any sugar. The brand I love is "Best Maid" and it says "Sugars less than 1 gram" (Ingredients: Cucumbers, Water, Vinegar, Salt, Alum, Calcium Chloride, Natural Flavoring, Sodium Benzoate & Potassium Sorbate (Preservatives), Oleoresin Turmeric & Yellow#5 (Colors), Polysorbat80 (Emulsifier).
Still too much sugar?

2. Also love me some mineral water. Any limits? Does it count towards my daily water intake?

I apperciate everyone's help! GOD Bless!

Go for it on the pickles. I personally enjoy Nathan's dill pickles (they're the hot dog people that sponsor that famous hot dog eating contest), and I get them regularly. Dill pickles are a phase 1 vegetable, and I can't see anything wrong with the ones you love. Keep in mind that 1/2 C. of raw cucumber has about 1g of naturally occuring sugar in it, so as long as you're staying away from bread & butter and other sweet pickles with ADDED sugar, you're fine. That's why they're on the list. Enjoy!

Some coaches say mineral water is ok, some don't. My coach says no, but I honestly do it anyway. Seriously, people, I just want a little fizz in my water, is that so bad? I think they all agree, though, that it doesn't count towards your daily water intake. I drink all my regular water, and then some, then at night I indulge in the bubble water....I don't think it's affected my weight loss, I've lost about 3 pounds a week consistently, except for one off week. (where I didn't cheat!)

my coach tells me to lay off the pickles cause they can make you bloat up and retain water if you eat too many :P which I have done lol

I eat dill pickles a lot. I use them as a life saving device when I am absolutely wanting to eat something. One dill pickle and I am good to go, usually until my next meal. I consistently lose 3-4 pounds a week.
