I think the information on IP phases is extremly important. I also agree that the supplements are of major import. There are however great resources right here. I've learned so much and it's been very motivating. I was just starting to adjust somes of the rules myself. UNTIL, I read all the phase information. I think you can do well on an alternative approach, by your pocket book and also on this journey for the rest of your life. This program teaches you how. Yesterday I found outI I was a SW in Onderland. Today I saw I may be an IP Addict. It's hysterical fun and I'm loving it. Best of luck to you, please read everything available, be safe/healthy.

Anyone ordered from Nashua from Canada? How long does it take to ship to Alberta? Any idea? I thought they would have given me a tracking number.

I found this at my local grocery store and it is pretty good

Anyone interested in the Bacon and cheese omelet from Health Smart (nashua nutrion)?

I have an entire box (7)..and like 2-3 more packets. Willing to let them go for the price of shipping to you.

So I'm thinking of switching to all alternative products and just bought some RTD EAS drinks yesterday. I definitely think that the IP ones taste better (chocolate). Does anyone recommend a different brand? I'd be good with the powder kind too.
I just ordered some stuff from Nashua Nutrition. I'm excited to try new products and will hopefully make the switch in the next few weeks. It's getting to be too expensive and if I can do it for less, I'm going to.

I read somewhere today that New Lifestyle Diet's shakes are exactly the same taste and stats as the IP RTD's and cost a lot less. The post said that they are manufactured by the same company just under a different label. I'm thinking of trying them too because it is quite expensive to be on IP.

Also, I'd like to find out if there is any yummy replacement out there for the IP chocolate drink mix. Any ideas???

I read in one of the threads that New Lifestyle Diet has the Chocolate RTD shake and it is the same taste and stats as IP. The company said it is made by the same company just put under a different label. Hope this helps.

Wow --- New Lifestyle Diet looks wonderful. I looked at the puddings and the RTDs.

I found replacement RTDs at Fit RX www.fitrx.com - brand name Labrada. Costco carried these for a while, and the vanilla ice cream tastes amazing. A 14 oz bottle has 180 calories, 7G fat, 5g carb, dietary fiber 4g, sugar 0g, protein 25g. For orders over $99 the shipping is free. Costs $28.95 for a case of 12.

While I am very pleased with the IP plan, the cost is starting to mount up, so it helps to find alternatives.

I just started IP yesterday using EAS shakes. I was wondering if anyone has tried BariWise products? They sell them in the IP clinic in my area. I searched them online and they are $10.99 for a pack of 7.

Sea Salt & Vinegar Chips

Does anyone know where I can purchase the Sea Salt & Vinegar Chips or the BBQ Chips cheaper than IP? The IP chips are the only ones that seem to satisfy me. I tried all of the chips at Nashua Nutrition and they just make me hungrier. Any suggestions?????

The 1st week I did IP was on alternative products. Here is what I did:

B: EAS carb advantage RTD shake
L: Lean protein with veggies & salad
S: Pure Protein PB bar
D: EAS carb advantage RTD shake and veggies & salad

I lost 5.6 pounds that week.

Be careful of "unapproved" sweeteners!

Just a note: New Lifestyle Diet products contain alternative sweeteners like fructose, aspartame, maltodextrin (glucose) and corn syrup solids which are not approved for IP. (Not saying they won't work for you - just making sure you don't mislead anyone into thinking they are the exact same.)

Protein Powder

I'm going off IP and doing alternative too. Just too expensive and I need a break from it. I found some protein powder at Vitamin Cottage, their own brand, that has under 1 carb. I'm thinking of mixing that with some raspberries and veggies for a shake, plus, if I put in the veggies, I can get some servings in. Raspberries are pretty low carb, only 15 per cup and have a lot of dietary fiber as well.
