I am sooo excited/ happy/ elated/ and a million other words.

I hit my goal today. It has taken me a little under 18 months to do so. In between when I started and now I was married, along with a few other slow downs.... but I made it.

Thank you all for all of your help/advise/and support!

Especially my girls on the biker thread! You pushed me when I wanted to quit!

BUT, even though today has been a long time coming and people think you can let your guard down.... I am sticking to what RockinRobin said in one of the very first threads I read of hers about what she did when she hit goal. She did exactly the same thing! I had the same breakfast, I did my usual boot camp routine, and I will work through the rest of the day just as normal. I don't want this weight to come back! EVER!

Thanks to all of you ladies who have lost so much weight. You are truly an inspiration!

Evelyn48, You can absolutely do this! Just make changes that you can live with for the rest of your life. When you are feeling like you can't do it.... just check out some of the awesome stories. Good luck. Let me know if you need anything.

Congratulations! I'm sure you feel so accomplished! Best of luck with maintenance! I agree with keeping everything the same. One thing I did do was take two days off of working out. I went from 6-7 days a week, to 4-5 a week. I let my body rest more now, but I keep my cal intake the same. 1,200 a day.

Thank you all so much. And, you are right, it is GREAT to start the weekend knowing that I have the tools to maintain and live this way for the rest of my life. I no longer have to be the BIGGEST girl in the room. Although chances are-- I am the tallest or close to the tallest, but I am okay with that.

Words cannot express how happy I am I found this website and that I get to share it with great people.

I cannot wait to hear the newbies goal stories here!
