Way to go! I knew when I saw those jeans getting smaller that you would there in no time. Congratulations!

Congratulations! How did you do it?
|
Thanks Everybody!
Butterflygirl -- I did it with calorie counting, eating a lot of whole foods, fairly low carbs and lots of protein. I did cardio on my exercise bike 6 days a week and I added a lot of walking to my days. I also did strength training with resistance bands every other day plus some other basic strength training exercises like crunches, leg lifts, push ups, etc. I just kept at it, not starving myself or pushing so hard that I felt like I had to quit -- and the weight just kept slowly and steadily coming off. And now, I feel like I am fairly ready for maintenance, because I took five months learning how to eat and exercise for a healthier lifestyle. |
Thanks for sharing & again congratulations....you look grt! :)

Schumeany - congratulations!! What a great accomplishment! I'm sure you are right that you've had 5 months of practice eating and exercising and that will serve you well in maintenance.
