Default Tea

What do you think of teas as a way to control hunger. I have heard a lot about them but am not sure if they actually work.

Coffee definitely helps curb hunger. Even decaf. I don’t know that tea does except as a placebo effect. I drink a lot of water but find that iced tea (herbal, usually hibiscus/Hawthorne/rose hip, always unsweetened) helps me feel like I’m having a treat and makes me less likely to drink or eat anything else. As long as you’re drinking unsweetened tea it’s worth trying. I tried a bunch of different teas before I found ones I really liked.

Not sure of the science or evidence of it but I drink herbal tea throughout the day or even chai tea with almond milk ...especially when bored or hungry. it helps!

I think tea has many benefits depending on which tea you make. plus it's another source of water
