Getting over this plateau

  • Until you get to about 1400-1600 calories, I find getting adequate vitamins and minerals from food is hard. And I eat on average about 20 oz of veggies a day {measured by weight not volume but certainly over 2.5 cups] as well as a lot of cabbage, and bok choy......but veggies these days are grown on mineral depleted soils........I don't take a multi but do use them to fill in gaps (and as we get older some are harder to absorb etc. I do take a B supplement and D3 and eat a brazil nut every day for selenium but don't eat a lot of meat. Also magnesium. Krys. How it is going? We have a good daily accountability thread started by Diana that has really helped me. It always shows up on the today's posts because it is very active.
