about my breakfast please!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is my breakfast I eat everyday.
1 cup skim milk 2/3 cup cooked oatmeal 1/3 cup all bran buds 1/4 cups blueberries raisins cinnamon I put it in fitday and it was calories 358 which is ok for me Fat 7.3 maybe a bit low carbs 69.1 is this too high for one meal it is mostly the all bran buds Protein 14.8 ok for one meal What do you think of it over all. The all bran buds are high in carbs but have 11 fibre per serving. Thanks |
depends on what plan you are following. if its not a low carb plan then its fine.

Leave the bran buts out and replace with sunflower and flax seeds :)

Are you remembering to subract the fibre grams from the total carbohydrate grams? I'm pretty sure net carbs are what matters when you're concerned about carb numbers. All bran buds are high in carbohydrate, but half of it is fibre.
Switching to ground flax and/or other seeds is an option, but if you're currently enjoying your breakfast, and it's working for you, I don't see any need to change things up. |
