Day 1:

OOOOOPS!!! It's Father's Day. Started out great, but gee, had to take the man to dinner. So I ate light, but day 1 will commence again tomorrow.

Anyone out there? I want company!!!

Thinking about it

Hi,

This is a program that always works best for me in the warm months so I am thinking about it.

What holds me back is the meal part. I don't like to use only the processed meals .

My problem is in finding suitable homemade meal substitutes. Some on the site seemed to have done this easily but I have found this difficult. If I can find suitable recipes that I could use and freeze portions, then I would be thrilled to do the program.

I have to also keep my Carbs in check so this rules out a lot of pasta meals which otherwise would work so well. I do s eat some pasta meals but can not do this everyday.

I like it because I was never hungry and do not seem to have a lot of cravings on the program.

Has this program worried for you ?

do you make any of your own meals?

Thanks,
Sheridan

Anyone currently doing this?

chris2365 09-14-2015 08:25 PM

I'm starting on this plan today. I've had 2 Kirkland (Costco) diet shakes, Chobani Greek yogurt (added berries), an apple, carrots, soup, and still have dinner to go. I need to run to the store to get that frozen entree for dinner and do shopping for this plan.

We'll see how it goes. My metabolism is tanked and I have a difficult time losing weight. I like the calorie controlled aspect of this which won't let me go too low (which I'm inclined to do) or too high.

I'm also signed up for a 5k in November, so just getting some walking/running time in too should help.

I'm starting tomorrow, 10/26. I purchased the book from Amazon a year or so ago but kept putting it off. I really wish I could afford Nutrisystem again, but this is similar and a whole lot cheaper.

Hi Ladies! I found this thread after a "simple diet reviews" search. I am hoping to start The Simple Diet next Monday after Easter. I was wondering if anyone stuck with it and has a success story to share? Thanks!!!
