Morning ladies. Neurologist really had nothing to say except combe back in 6 months. He signed my disability papers so hope that helps. Then went to the Little Clinic in the grocery for my throat. The strep test came back negative but she thinks it is allergies, sinus, etc. She gave me an antibotic to take so hope that helps. Drinking hot tea with honey now to soothe my throat. I could hardly talk yesterday and today isn't much better.

Other than that nothing else going on with me.

Ellen, pool day sounds like so much fun. I like having someone to talk to when I'm in the pool. I need to ge my house in shape too, the roofer man is coming tonight.

Nothing much going on here. It rained all day off and on yesterday. Need to get busy on the house. Its not long till our company comes. Still haven't figured out what we're having to eat.

Solly- I hope it went well with the doctor yesterday. I had to get an attorney when I got my disability. I think its standard they turn you down the first time. Wonder if you have allergies.

Ellen- Have a happy shopping day. Hope you find what you need.

Just stopping by...is there a way to receive these replies via email? Did horrible over the wkend. The weekends have always been my downfall. Right now I'm eating more than I should although legal. Just trying to stay on track right now. I found a recipe called Rice Lasagna that I think the kids might like...but will have to use instant brown rice...that's the only way they will eat it. If it turns out good I will let you know..will probably be this wkend before I make it.

Just got done cleaning the top of the stove off. Thought I would have a nice cup of green tea now. Didn't sleep worth a darn last night so I've been tired all day. I hate those kind of nights. Got fish thawed out for dinner. Its quick and tasty. Steve is out mowing the yard.

Ellen- Hope you got all the pool stuff done and are having a nice day with Grandson.

Heartmom- Week ends are hard for me too. What can I say I'm weak.... LOL Can't wait to hear how the rice lasagna went?

Solly- I hope your throat is better.

It has been a wonderful and full week and a half since Owen was born. Britt gave us a call at 2:14 a.m. and told us her water broke. I was able to get to the hospital and be with her and Gabe. Eight hours later our little fella was born. That evening I went and watched Maverick so his mama wouldn't worry about him. This meemaw was dragging. I stayed at her house the rest of that week and came home for two nights and then went back for two more nights. As much as I loved it it is wonderful to be back home.

I ate poorly but I still worked out everyday and Maverick kept me running. I was blessed with no weight gain.

I put pictures of Owen and Maverick up on my facebook today.

Heartmom..so good to see you again. I recognized you right away. :hug: Still beautiful. It is hard to believe your little one is 11 already. Where does the time go?

Solly..sorry you are feeling poorly. Glad the doctor signed the papers for you. The garden is winding down with the lack of rain and heat but we did harvest 27 spaghetti squash this year. The butternut did not make that many but it did okay. Not sure how many of those yet. I think we have picked six or seven so far. The zucchini is still producing also.

Toni..what I would do for some rain. It is SO HOT and DRY here. It was over 101 again. We have had more triple digits this year than we've ever had in the month of June.

Ellen...hope you and the little one had a blast today.

Hi ladies. I just finished booking my flight to Florida next week. We decided to fly instead of driving. I am not sure I could stand driving for so long even though we were getting a hotel Friday night. We will arrive 1 day later than my DD but then again we will stay one day later too. I think it will be fine.

I woke this morning with sore all along my tongue and side of my mouth. I am going to my regular doctor after lunch to have her look at it, It is always something. Oh well, now I can get her to sign my disability papers too.

Ellen, I agree with you, I am sick of being sick. Sounds like you had a great day in the pool. It rained here all day so we have not been in the pool this week. Have fun on your trip.

Crystal, your babies are adorable. Congrats on being a new grandma. Try to stay cool.

Heartmom, weekends are the worse for me too. Too much wine and bad food. I don't know what the answer is.

Toni, We had fish for dinner Tuesday night. I think it will be a turkey hot dog for me tonight. I just don't feel like cooking and my DD will nt be home.

Off to get ready. I was supposed to be cleaning so I might try to get some of it started. Have a great day

Put some country style boneless ribs in the crockpot with barbecue sauce this morning. Not the best thing. But I'm trying to clean out the freezer. We're going shopping in a day or two so trying to get ready for it. Have to get our company groceries. I forgot to weigh again this morning.

Solly- Hope your doctor can find out whats wrong with you and get it fixed before vacation. Florida sounds like fun.

Crystle- Your Grandkids are adorable and loved the pictures on facebook. Oh my gosh its so hot at your place.

Ellen- Hope you have fun at the reunion. I can't imagine how hard it would be to eat trying to be gluten free. Do you take most your food? Sorry you aren't feeling well. Hope you get better by tomorrow.

Thanks for the sweet comments about my grand babies. I just love this so much. I wish I could see my son's children as well. Do ya'll remember Lilly? I've only seen her once in three years and it breaks my heart. She is only five minutes down the road. :( Mr. Bentley is farther away so it is just a matter of logistics. His mother doesn't mind if we see him. :)

I am SO happy to be down another pound. It only took two months to lose it..LOL I am 11 pounds under official goal and only 4 pounds away from my unofficial goal. My husband knows I want to lose a little more but I tell my daughter I am done..LOL She thinks I am too thin. I love being able to go to the store and grab a medium shirt and know that it is going to fit. I'm wearing 4's and 6's in jeans so I cannot complain there either. My BMI is 22.6 and I'd like it to be 22. I don't think that is unreasonable. If I don't lose anymore I am okay with that also. I don't want to sound ungrateful because I am. God has really helped me get to a healthy place mentally as well as physically. I'm eating more now than I ever have when losing weight.

Mama came through her surgery this morning and is already at home. She is hurting but that is to be expected.

Ellen...hope your arms feel better soon. :hug:

Good morning ladies. Just finsihed doing my floors. Whew! I am worn out. I guess I will go out to my DD's in awhile. Got to go get my father's day card. He wants a fishing and hunting license. I don't know why. He goes about once a year.

Crystal, so sorry you don't get to see Lilly. that is alwful. Fill you heart with your new little ones. You have done so great with your wt. 4's & 6's in jeans is awesome. I wish I were there to.

Toni, Ribs are my favortite. That is about the only meat I can eat. I guess b/c of the sauce. Ellen, hope you are having a good day.

The dr didn't say much about my mouth. Gave me Valtrex pills for a fever blister. It is worse this morning. It hurts and looks nasty. My throat is still store. She thinks it is drainage also. Never heard of drainage being so severe and causing mouth sores.

I was looking at how long we have been friends together here at 3 Fat Chicks and boy has the time flown. We have been through a lot together over the last 9 years. No wonder you all feel like sisters and friends.

There have been births, deaths, illnesses and health successes. We have been at goal, gained it back and gone down again. We have laughed and cried together.

I just wanted to acknowledge how special each of you are to me. Even my SB buddies that I haven't known as long have touched my heart in lasting ways.
