sun flower seeds

How bad are sun flower seeds with the shell on? It seems like it would be a good way to keep my mouth busy. But I am just worried about all the salt. What do you all think?

Maybe look into unsalted ones and toast them yourself? If you are mostly trying to keep your mouth busy you don't want to overload on salt.
