Question Has anyone tried diet rotation?

I think I have failed on past diets/lifestyle changes because I get bored and go back to old unhealthy habits.

This time I was thinking I would try diet rotation. For example: the first month I will do low carb, then next month low cal, then one month high carb (veg).

Has anyone tried anything like this? What were your results?

Over the past few years, I've carb counted, calorie counted, fallen off the wagon and have kept off fifteen pounds. That's with falling off the wagon a lot!

It sounds sensible from a scientific standpoint in that your body doesn't adjust to a specific way of eating.

I'm currently eating only within an eight hour window. If I don't lose or eventually stall, I'll probably incorporate low carb for a few weeks to see how it goes.
