Default I just can't get in the groove

I do well for a week, go to a family party or there's a birthday here at work, fall off the wagon for a day, back on plan the next, fine for another week, setback for one day the next, etc. etc. etc. I keep regaining and losing the same three or four pounds and am making no progress. Short of hypnosis, does anyone have any suggestions? I am a lifetime member of Weight Watchers and have lost weight on various other plans as well, I know how to lose weight and how to eat properly. I've never regained to my all time high of 190 pounds or so back in the early 90s, but there's a stubborn 15 to 20 pounds that keeps dragging me down. Suggestions, anyone?

I totally feel you. I feel like I'm good on weekdays, and then fall apart on weekends. And I'm not that far away at this point. I have no advice, only empathy.
