This is a wonderful thread! I just found it today.

I've been posting on a few other threads, some of you may know me.

I'm a Christian and I'm loosing weight on the 1st Place program. Since joining the 1st Place group I've lost 16 #'s and 10" (actually, I weighed this morning at Curves and I think I'm closer to 18 now-yippee!).

Without a shadow of a doubt, I KNOW that God interveened in my life and caught me in the knick of time -- before I went too far with my health. I have been a borderline diabetic (actually I think I was a diabetic, I just didn't go back to the dr.), my knees, hips, and back were so sore, I moaned and groaned like an old woman - no offense, please. I was depressed - serverely - and just wanted to sleep my life away. Also, I looked terrible!

Praise God for 1st Place and my friend that introduced me to it. This was most definately an answered prayer from the pit of my stomach. Because of 1st Place I love to exercise and I'm feel soooo good! My blood sugar level has decreased from 225 to 177 and still decreasing - Thank You Jesus! My knees are strengthening, so is my back and hips.

It's just wonderful the feeling that I'm feeling now.

I am one truely thankful person.

Hi, Max, nice to meet you. And I am happy for your weight loss. It is a good feeling, isn't it, to lose so much weight. And more impotant you have gotten your life in perspective.

Hey everyone, I'm finally back. Yes, I've been back from Seattle for 2 or so weeks but wow, it sure takes a lot out of you when you travel from time zone to time zone. With Seattle being 2 weeks earlier, I found out the true meaning of Jet Lag. :dizzy:

First let me welcome MAX and 2fatasme! This thread is pretty new so not too busy but we are praying the God will lead people to us so that we can find support in each other and cheer each other on as we become "Loser's for Christ". Don't let the slowness of our posts scare you away. The more we post, the more we will attract others who want to be lead by Him. :)
