Hi Michelle,

There's a group of us that count calories on the "Doing it the Old-Fashioned Way" thread. There are a bunch of places online that will give you the calories and nutritional values for food online. A good one is www.fitday.com where you can also log in weight and exercise. I'm pretty sure drkoop.com has one, and another poster on our thread sent a link to one she uses as well. You can always buy one of those pocket calorie counters at any bookstore to track them the non-technological way. Most fast food and chain restaurants have nutritional info on their websites, so it's become much easier to be more accurate about what goes into our mouths!

Hope that helps.

www.foodcount.com

It has over 30,000 foods and you can do a search to find what you're looking for. I find it comes in handy from time to time when I just can't find what I'm looking for in my book. Bookstores sell tons of little "pocket-size" books with calorie counts ( or fat or carbs depending on what you're watching ). I find the book is a huge help in my calorie counting.. and I can carry it with me (where the computer would not be accessible!)
