Question Please help me with a calorie question

OK, I have read that 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat. So if you cut 500 calories a day that is 1 pound a week. Here's the thing, Right now I am drinking around 500 calories a day in Cokes. If I cut those out how much will I actually lose?? What I mean is when you cut 500 calories a day how long do you actually lose from those 500 calories??

Dear Amanda......

I don't know if anyone can tell you when or how quickly you would lose the weight. Each person is different with variables such as metabolism, degree of exercise, quality of food, etc.

I can tell you that I gave up a 5 or 6 coke a day habit and lost 11 pounds in the 1st 2 weeks. A lot of this I'm sure was from sodium retention. At any rate, you would be doing your body a favor by giving up the empty calories.

Good luck to you.........
