Wink A Great Combo!

I like many people have suffered with weight problems for most of my life. I don't know what it was, but recently something inside of me woke up. I looked in the mirror and realized, "I don't want to look like this any more!" Before when I'd look in the mirror, I'd get depressed and end up binging on junk food. This time was different, I decided that I was going to take control over my problem. I got on the computer and looked up different programs to find the one that best suited me. I ended up finding many that sounded good but they were so expensive. Finally, I decided I was going to make up my own diet using a combination of things.

First off and the most important is exercise. I know most people hate to work out but give it a while and eventually it will feel less like a chore and more like an every day thing. Secondly, you have to drink a lot of water. I drink about a gallon each day. I cut out soda and juice and when I'm in the mood for something bubbly, I drink seltzer water. I drink 3 Scan Diet shakes a day, they are very filling and contain soy. I take two metabolife in the morning and two before lunch. And for dinner I have either a smart ones from weight watchers or a healthy choice frozen dinner. I exercised for about 1 1/2 hours a day 7 days a week. The first week, I lost five pounds!

I also think it's important to surrounds yourself with positive people. When you are alone or with people who make you feel bad all the time then it will be harder to succeed. That's why I looked for an online support group. In the hopes to meet people like me and build positive friendships. So anyone out there that's wants to have a friend that will support you in all you do, someone who will encourage you and give you motivation then answer back I will reply.

Talking

You know I agree with you 100%. You have to have the right mind set and the right tools in order to lose weight. It is a step by step process. When I started my weight loss journey, I had to do things one step at a time. For example, first for me was the food aspect- having only the right type of food in the house and the other ones that were tempting out. Second was to gradually increase my exercise and make time for it. Thirdly, accepting that this was a lifestyle I would have to live with and knowing that there would be good days and bad ones.

The only thing I want to add is that if you get discouraged find a friend to help you out with the same goals. Someone you can talk to .I joined WW because I needed the support others do not but get it when you do.

Good Luck!!
