Any fans? I must admit that I watched it expecting to be ticked off, but found it charming and have given up Earl for it. (I'll catch Earl when Betty goes into reruns). What do you think?

I love it - even have DH hooked! I'll be honest, I would NOT have watched it if it wasn't for America Ferrara (Betty) - she's just wonderful. I had read about the Latin American original version (it was a HUGE hit down there) and was appalled. But now I see why they loved it - say it with me I LOVE BETTY!!!!!

I love it too! I tape it to watch Grey's anatomy. I am always glad I tape it though, and even my husband asks what happened if he missed anything. I find it charming and funny, and way more emotional than I'd assumed from the initial previews. The cast is fabulous and even though the way it's laid out is a little cartoonish, the characters almost all have redeeming qualities....and they even managed to work in a little bit of mystery with the fathers' story lines.

I do wish someone would help her with her blouse choices though and I just about died when she walked in with her new make over....yikes!
I can't wait until next week!

I just wanted to comment that she was a great actress in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Jeans!

DH was the one who wanted to watch this, so we did and we both love it. Very refreshing. Normally we like the dramas like Criminal Minds and House, so this is a great change of pace (and I don't mind missing Earl--never got that into that one).
