Fake Tan

  • Hey guys,

I'm looking for a bit of advice about fake tan, I am using a spray tan to brown my legs before I go away at the weekend, and my legs are coming up really nicely. My only problem is my feet, at the moment they're lily white, as I'm kind of nervous about spraying them as last time I did them they were a patchy orange colour. So, how do I get tanned feet without smears? Would a cream work better on my feet? I go away at the weekend and want to get it sorted before I go.
  • wow, good luck with the foot. The skin isn't quite uniformed throughout the body, and the feet tends to have that problem when spray tanning (orangey-ness).
  • Yeah, last time it was all patchy and silly looking. I'm thinking I might mix some cream tan with some moisturiser and try that, thing is I don't want to be sitting by the pool looking all orange footed hehe, I guess there's always those corrector wipes.

Must remember not to sunburn my feet this time
  • there r lotions out now that give you a tan u need to apply them eveyday but it takes a few weeks (I believe) before the color shows up completely.
  • Those lotions don't work very well. They make you a little darker...but not much. Nothing really noticeable.

I suggest trying the cream tan thing. Like you said, there are always correction wipes. Even if it comes out badly, the worst that could happen is that you wasted a little bit of money.
  • I have been using the creams but I agree, they dont seem to make a huge difference
  • I got some fake tan gel last night, and moisturised my feet before using it, it worked great, I now have nice brown feet that match my legs!! YAY!
  • What Brand did you get???
