I feel the same way. I remember when I was just learning about all the planets and I felt that Pluto didn't really fit in. It was so much smaller and followed its own path, without having to run parallel with the others. Somehow, I found that sort of endearing. You know, like "hang in there, little planet."
It is kind of sad that Pluto has essentially been stripped of its title. Maybe it's also sad that I tend to personify the ex-planet as if it were a living thing.

I guess it's just kind of hard when you've been taught one thing all your life, and then suddenly that gets changed.
Stay strong, and I'm sure we'll get through the loss.

And besides, I have a sneaking suspicion that the scientists will end up changing their minds again. They always seem to be talking about wanting to add other planets and I don't know if they will ever be satisfied.
