Default Comedy Central Roast

will/bill shatner is being roasted, and I usually watch these but waited a few weeks last time cause the roast series started off really funny and got really just average to bad the last two to three times. This last one was pretty average overall, mostly it had some average performances by some comedians, and some bad ones by other people. Yet, I was very very impressed with George Takei, this guy had a way above average perfomance. Jeff Ross was okay too. Lisa Lampanelli (I am not sure if I spelled it right) was kinda just average this time, usually she is very good on these things. Oh, well I just had to post after seeing Zulu blow all those other professional comedians off the stage and anyone else they had up there too. Last note: why the heck do they keep inviting Andy Dick back, he is so freaky in a way that is not funny most of the time. To bad they never book real talents like Rock, Mencia, Chappelle (not a snow balls chance now), or Louie CK who is very funny on stage (he's show is okay but needs work), or Dave Attell.

By the way if u watch it realize it is pretty vulgar and can be a bit sick sometimes.

I saw the roast and was rather unimpressed. I think the producers need to monitor the amount of liquor and cocaine available to the comics backstage.

As for a positive, Nichelle Nichols (Lietenant Uhura) looked fantastic. She has definitely aged well.

I saw part of this last night. It was pretty vulgar. What was the deal with Farrah Fawcett? Anyone else notice?

This show in all truth was actually pretty funny when it first ran and was so for another two episodes, then it started to tank as new comedy central connected comedians started making appearances to fill in room.

As for Farah I have no idea she is pretty wacky, okay I didn't want to say it but she's pretty crazy.

As for the drugs and drinking, probably so. They all have been on drugs but is that at all a suprise esp. with the fact that they were probably already in the circuits during the 70s and 80s.

Uhura looked okay actually, not bad esp. since it's been a long time since the show. In truth, the best kept one is probably Zulu since I can't count Seven o Nine since she was on voyager - she was in the audience.
