KEIKO!

Keiko is the killer whale from free willy. I love it, it is perfect. It is orginal, but not too weird. I wanted to kinda name her something Vancouver Island related, because I love it here - and Killer Whales are seen all the time. And I watched free willy with her right after we got her... but I couldn't call her willy!

We were going to call her Beanz, but this is so much better. I am feel so much better knowing she finally has a name!

Congrats on finding the perfect name. Sometimes it takes some time to find the name that fits. Our first cat got named 1 week in, after we noticed that our silver-grey kitten LOVED to play in the Dr. Pepper box, but ignored all other soda varieties, so Pepper he became.

Adorable name for an adorable puppy. It's funny how you mentioned Vancouver Island and how you can see Killer Whales all the time. Last year at this time, we lived in the state of Washington and we went Whale Watching right off of Port Townsend in WA. We past by the San Juan Islands and were close to Vancouver Island. We seen a good bit of Killer Whales out there.

OMG - i tell you i am re-living my bt's puppyhood vicariously through keiko's. she is adorable and reminds me of my girl so much when she was a puppy.
