Hormone Therapy

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I wasn't sure where to put it.

I am 41 and recently had surgery and I am now on hormone replacement therapy, anyone else here taking them and has it affected your weightloss?

Research claims it slows down the process and I think if I know this going in I can adjust the mind set and not be set up for failure.

Thanks

I take Estratest HS after having a full hyst. 2 years ago, and it hasn't affected me either way. What are you taking? Mine is a combination of low dose estrogen and testosterone.

i took Premarin for 2 years after my hysterectomy. I didn't notice any weight gain while I was taking it, but I wasn't making an attempt to lose weight then, so I don't know if it would have slowed down weight loss or not. I quit taking it after 2 years.

I lost 70 lbs while on premarin - it wasn't fast, but it did come off. :)
