Please don't stress about school. It's perfectly justified to take incompletes when you're dealing with a medical issue. Just think how much better school will be once these headaches are finally gone, and you can really concentrate on your studies.
I have been following your story here, but haven't had anything of help to post. I am SO glad you decided to call your doc, then go to ER. I will be thinking of you and hoping for a successful 'fix' and a rapid recovery.
Certainly don't worry about school... although I know that is easy for ME to say and I would be worrying just as much as you. But just imagine how much better you will feel once the headaches are gone and you can put all of your concentration into school or whatever you choose to do.
I look forward to hearing from you when you can get back on here.
zwell, I was in the hospital for five days, got a shunt in. Stayed at home for a few days, and now I'm back home. I'm trying to finish up the semester, but I don't see it going well. Its okay though. I'm on some antibiotics that are making me feel sick, and I've gained back some weight, don't know why but I have. I'm just glad that they figured it out so fast, because apparently, adult hydrocephalitus, i think that's it, or water on the brain is kinda rare. They weren't really sure what was going on, but the shunt has fixed it, apparently. I got back for another cat scan in a week and make sure everything is good. Thank you all for your thoughts.
