Default Coast Guard families hurt by Katrina...

http://www.cgfdn.org/main.html and http://www.cgmahq.org Are websites to help the families of all the brave men sacrificing time and effort into saving 1000s of lives. People don't realised that they lost everything too.

Thanks for posting this Chubby_Barbie! I dont have any family in the coast guard but one of my very good friends is in the Coast Guard. He was stationed in New Orleans until about 3 months ago when he was transferred down here to Jacksonville, Fla. I can't tell you how glad I am that he was not there. I sense from talking to him that he feels as if he *should* have been there to help all of his Coastie friends but I am thanking God that he is safe.
