I have to say that I've never seen such a wonderful discussion area. There are so many posts and forums that I'll be reading forever (keeps me from snacking too)
I'm in Ottawa, 44, a hubby and two step kids (teenagers who are with us on a part-time basis). I'm a network engineer working full time. I've tried just about every diet out there including Bernstein but lose the weight fast and then put it back on. In the last year I've put on 25 pounds from my last big fat loss.
This board looks very promising with all the support and happy faces and I'm looking forward to our chats. I think I'll start reading about bfl and see where that takes me for now.
I've called the local goodlife fitness gym and am waiting for a personal trainer to call me back with prices (although from reading the posts on trainers, I'm not sure if I really want one that badly).
Anyhow, it's nice to be here.
