Fat Doesnt always mean UnFIT
I was reading an online article that sited that many sports figures..had high BMI's despite the fact that they were considered fit..Arnold S for instance is a very fit man and yet had a high BMI,I believe it was 31 or something like that and that would be considered overweight in the world of BMI's
I have trouble trusting a BMI that just takes weight and height into consideration....there are lots of other factors involved..When I talked to a trainer about BMI's he considers them bogus and sets people up for failure when trying to lose weight or get in shape..
He said that HOW you feel is far more important than what your BMI says....and that we have to consider that when we weigh ourselves..we arent just weighing fat,,but muscle, bone, tissue and fluids.
Remember that the next time you step on the scale..or do like I did and THROW IT OUT the window LOL
