Default Speed Queen Washer/Dryer

I have heard nothing but good reviews about Speed Queen products. My washer just quit and I need to do something quickly. I have called the local dealer for Speed Queen. I don't want all the bells and whistles that are on today's models of appliances. All the other models have front load/electronic controls, etc. The basic models are:

Washer: AWN432SP-113TWO4 https://www.speedqueen.com/products/...build-your-own
Dryer: ADE3SRGS173TWO1 https://www.speedqueen.com/products/...build-your-own

So, my question is, does anyone here have a Speed Queen washer/dryer? Happy or unhappy with your purchase? TIA

Hi Yes I got the Speed Queen models. I was scared that our water bill would be a lot higher. We haven't quite had them a month, yet, but we got our water bill yesterday and it's a few penny's less than the previous month. They also wash a lot faster than the HE front load model I had.

I have heard of a lot of people who didn't like the front loaders. My DIL was one of them, and she sold hers to the people who bought their house when they moved. We haven't been really happy with any of the washers we've had in the past 20 years. Used to be you bought a washer and it lasted you forever. They don't make them like they used to. We use 7,000 gallons per quarter for two people. I don't know how that compares to other people's usage. That's for laundry, showers, drinking, car washing. We don't water our grass. We leave that up to God. LOL

Wannabehealthy I don't know how long mine will last, but Speed Queens are commercial/heavy duty. They are what used to be in the laundromats. I got top load, not front load.

I just purchased the Speed Queen TC5000WN. Hands down, the BEST washing machine I've ever owned, and I've owned just about every other brand out there. Finally, I get to wear clean clothes again!
