Default Something's wrong with my cat?

Howe went on a trip for a week due to family emergency. We've been back a week and ever since we got back his meow sounds strange. It sounds lighter and sweeter if that makes sense.nhes a siamese so he's still very chatty but his meow is usually scratchy sounding kinda. Been that way since he was a kitten. I've tried looking in his mouth but he's not having any of that... Any ideas what's wrong with him?

Is the only symptom that he's meowing different? Is he eating/drinking and going potty normally? Does his coat look good? Any eye/nose discharge? Head shaking? How's his balance? Is he grooming himself?

My oriental makes the sweeter "normal" cat meows when he's feeling timid. Perhaps your cat's had a little bit of a fright, and without his family around, he was extra anxious. He'll probably be back to normal soon.

Gotta love the meez, they never shut up

Sorry to hear about your worries, I know it can be upsetting to worry about our pets. If everything else seems to be okay, it is probably from missing you/ a little stress.

How is your cat doing? I hope he is ok now! I love my cat a lot so i can imagine how worry you were about him. But i have to admit that the voice of my cat changes pretty often;-) It depends on so many factors!! like her mood and season of the year, day or night, hungry or not, happy or sad;-)
