I just finished my book yesterday and am currently looking for one to read. I have a prime membership with Amazon, so if anyone has any good suggestions for freebies from the lending library I would appreciate it.
I've read and loved:
Harry Potter - complete series
Hunger Games - complete series
Kite Runner
Water for Elephants
In May I read A LOT more than I thought I would. So I'm going to try to read even more this month.
In May I read: A Life Without Limits, Finding Ultra, World War Z, and In a Single Bound.
In June I plan on reading:
1. The Long Run By: Matt Long
2. The Courage To Start By: John Bingham
3. Living Life to the Full By: Ellen Charnley
4. Ironstruck By: Ray Fauteux
5. And the Mountains Echoed By: Khaled Hosseini
Slowly but surely I'm reading "Nourishing Traditions" - The cookbook that challenges politically correct nurtition and the diet dicotcrats, by Sally Fallon.
This is really a book on nuition(as well as a cookbook) that challenges all the misinformation on what's good for us to eat. I now know why to eat the whole egg and not just the egg white. No more low fat dieting, yeah!
I started Dan Brown's new book Inferno over the weekend. It's a page-turner. I could easily sit down and finish it, but I don't have the time! I am telling myself that I can read it IF I'm on the treadmill (something I got from someone here that only allows herself to read while on the treadmill). So far, it is working. I've been doing half-hour sessions for the past week or so and feel ready to up it to 45 minutes. Guess dinner will have to wait, lol.
Im just finishing the first installment of Thirst by Christopher Pike and I have read the first few pages of The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I havent had enough desire to finish or really get into either one.....yet.
