From what I read it sounds like you had a “normal” moment of jealousy/insecurity. Do I think it was entirely rational? Maybe not entirely, but certainly understandable, especially in light of your past relationship history. I don’t think that you did anything wrong by telling your bf how you felt; it’s important to be able to communicate effectively and to be able to make your feelings known. It doesn’t sound to me like your feelings upset him. I really wouldn’t worry about it any further, it seems like you and he are on the same page regarding this particular ex.
