I didn't participate until a bit after I joined, in late 2009 is when I started trying to lose weight. It was kind of half assed and I lost a little. Spring of 2010 I ramped it up and by the end of the year I had gone from 194.4 lbs to 146.6 lbs.
Jan 2011 I got married, moved to another city (and left my gym behind), found out I was pregnant in April, started lurking again late December as I had gained back 20 lbs before getting pregnant and another 60 while pregnant. I had my daughter December 30th of 2011.
Early February of 2012 is when I started working at losing weight seriouslly again. It's been up and down but as long as I'm on 3FC I seem to keep my motivation. I hope to stay on here regularly after I get to my goal weight, to help with maintenance.
I joined in 2006 after struggling with maintenance and found my happy weight of 140. Held on until some pcos related issues came about and put on 20lbs in 2010. Got it under control and lost the 20lbs and then proceeded to get pregnant in 2011. Still dealing with 13lbs of baby weight, but overall feel pretty good about keeping most of it off, which I could not have done without the support here. Even though I don't post much, I still very much feel a part of this amazing community!
Joined in July of last year (2011) at about the same starting weight as this time (160), I had lost about 10 pounds in May and June and lost another 10 in July and August.
Regained it all over the next 6 months and coincidently stopped being active on 3FC at that time.
Re-started in March of this year (2012), re-joined 3FC, and am down to 130(ish) now.
I am hoping to get to 120(ish) by March of next year (2013) - my 23rd birthday is on the 2nd, so it would be nice to reach my goal by then!
I joined in June 2011 at 140 lbs (after losing 20 lbs on my own) and got down to 132 lbs. I then got off track last fall and gained back up to 148. I came back off and on, but didn't get serious until early October.
This is my first roll on 3fc- i started at around 200, im currently around 180, highest on 3fc is 200ish, lowest is 168ish, but i'm maintaining at around 180 +/-2lbs
I lurked here for like one year. I officially joined in July of this year in hopes that posting would help keep me on track since none of my friends or family members are overweight.
So far so good! I weighed 238 lbs and wore a size 18 when I signed up and now I wear a size 12/14 (no idea what I weigh now).
At 181 pounds I joined in Sept 2011 and began counting calories, then found out I was pregnant in October 2011. At that point I "left" 3FC and ate whatever I wanted. My highest pregnancy weight was 212 pounds.
My son was born in June and I re-joined 3FC and began counting calories again almost exactly a year after my first attempt. When I started losing weight this time my weight was hovering around 180 with some minor fluctuations, so I measure weight loss by my original weight of 181.
No history of note - as I've said before when I decided on changing my life I meant it, and haven't backed down since. I've changed approaches over time and tweaked as I've understood my body's feedback more and more, but I joined 3FC about six months into my journey and have stayed active and on the very same downward or maintenance trend ever since. Some times I'm in the zone and sometimes it is a struggle, but I promised myself to never quit and I've kept that promise
I joined another another user name, I think in 2005. I remember I was at 342 pounds, which was a ways down from my highest. Lost a fair amount and was on and off the site. Eventually came back with a whole new account, then switched out to my current user name.
It seems the more active I am here (even just lurking), the better progress I make. Except for the slip-up I had last winter when I gave up on everything, I've either been maintaining or losing ever since 2004. Heh . . . someday . . . someday . . . I'll get to a normal BMI. Having lost 130 pounds so far isn't all that bad.
i can't remember when i joined but i had been losing weight fairly steadily for quite awhile and found 3FC while searching for information on something or other...and i kept coming back to read everything...and i liked the forum enough to join and start posting
i dont post alot because my life in terms of weight loss is fairly uneventful....count calories, go to the gym and run, etc...havent encountered alot of major setbacks or anything....just a steady slowwww progress downward
my weight when i started this journey was 230...right now i'm around 182-186...the lowest weight i've seen in my adult life...still trucking onward and downward
oh apparently my little picture on the left says i joined in june 2011 LOL

Well I joined in May this year right at the very beginning of my weight loss journey ( Although I have a million year history of diet/binge). I have checked in almost every day, often more than once even when I am having a bad day and I really think it is what has made the difference this time.

I joined in July 2011 after lurking for a month after a friend posted about this place on Facebook. I've been committed ever since
I've been on a downward trend for years before here though. I was over 200lbs in high school and slowly lost weight throughout high school, college, and grad school before making a big change in May 2011 at 182lbs
I think it was May of 2010 when i joined. I started out at 338, in April, and had lost down to 325 when I decided I was going to need some kind of support if I was going to do this. Found 3fc through google. I mostly read, but do post at times...I get on here in the morning, afternoon and evening, everyday since I joined. Many have been inspirations and tons of great advice and support. I'm in maintenance now and will continue to be a member...just as hard to maintain as it was to lose!
