Soups, stews, chili, meatloaf, meatballs, tacos--pretty much anything your family likes. I also soak my dry beans ahead of time and freeze so that I can just dump them in the crockpot. I cook up many lbs of hamburger and freeze in meal-sized portions to add to spaghetti, goulash or lasagna. I throw a bag of frozen chicken breasts in the crockpot and chop up into meal-sized portions. Or I just make a soup or stew with the frozen chicken breasts and shred it prior to serving. Review what your family likes to eat and try to come up with shortcuts for fast and easy meals. As far as lunches, I like to make a big pot of veggie soup and divide it into individual containers to freeze so that I can just grab one in the morning to take to work. That and a piece of fruit does me well throughout the day. Best of luck!

Thats a great idea....I didnt even think about meatballs or chili....I usually do the precooked burger, that is a life saver....We make homemade soup on Sundays and eat that at lunch through the week (we are both home at lunch time)

I haven't tried this yet, but have it bookmarked to look at closer in the winter. I think there are lots of ideas here that could be made healthy.
