I'm a nursing student right now. Just finished my first semester of nursing school. It is a very very rewarding profession and I absolutely love it. I enjoy helping others and I grew up with both parents being nurses. During clinicals, I did have to clean up poop, give showers, etc. It is very physically demanding and there is a ton of paperwork along with it but in the end, I feel like its worth it. Classes can be a little rough. Anything below a 78 is considered failing for me but I'm not sure if all nursing schools are the same in that aspect. You meet some wonderful people during school including your fellow classmates, professors and nurses at the hospital.
Best wishes if you do decide on this route.
