I haven't heard about this book! What is it about?

I know this may sound like a stupid question, since its called "Skinny Rules," but that's too vague for me! What kind of advice is he offering?

I saw Bob's interview on The Today Show. I liked his message. All of the "rules" are what I had already followed and encourage others to follow, too.

But keep in mind, everybody is different. That's why some things work for only part of the people.

In the end, it truly all amounts to this: For weight loss, keep your calories consumed lower than your calories burned. For maintenance, keep it balanced over the course of a week. So if you splurg on calorie consumption one day of the week, make sure to have a calorie deficit for a couple of days.

Loving it so far!!! :-)

So far, its advice I've always heard & do follow already, but I love the way its written & the explainations! Some rules: drink a glass of water before each meal, 30-50 grams of fiber a day, eat your carbs before 3 p.m.... I'll keep you posted!

Most of the rules aren't new, but it's nice to have everything together in one place so they are easy to memorize and follow.

I read the book last week and followed his meal plan since last Saturday (my grocery day). I've had fish and cauliflower and all sorts of veggies and definitely feel better and have lost three pounds.

I probably would have lost more weight, but had an old injury act up to the point where I could hardly move around for a few days. I'm back on track with exercise now that the pain is gone.

The best thing about his plan and tips is that I have not been hungry during the day. I'm an emotional eater, a stay at home mom with a special needs toddler and am very stressed. The plan had me full and I did not have any cravings all week.

We have multiple allergies in this household and I can not eat gluten, but I was able to follow along just fine. I don't allow nuts in the house (deadly to my son), so I just don't do that part of the meal plan. I use Udi's flax or chia breads when Bob has a slice of bread or toast in the meal plan.

My husband ate the dinners and started eating oatmeal in the mornings. He's lost 5 pounds and says he feels better. He only weighs 178 pounds, so doesn't have much to lose.
