Actually push-up bras are AMAZING for large breasted women. I really need supportive bras because if my breasts are too low I have MAJOR back pain. My favorite brand is
Ewa Michalak, which is almost exclusively push-up/padded bras (with a few sheer cups thrown in there).
I think I've asked you this before but I have to check. Are you SURE you're a 36C? At your height and weight that would be extremely rare (I know because I'm doing an
underbust survey at the moment and have seen the stats for women around your height/weight). Remember that your underbust=band size (DON'T ADD INCHES):
here's a great video about it (and she has other pictures on her blog with her in a correctly fitting bra, the difference is huge). I mean, I know it's possible but just not that common so it's always good to check.
As for Victoria Secrets, well, not a fan. They've been extremely rude to me in the past (when I tried to get fitted there), they don't carry anything remotely close to my size (28HH) and the sizing advice on their website is horrendous! However, it's always great when someone can find a well-fitting bra!
