Anyone red it?

I was so excited when I learned they were realising a ''some years later'' sequel of the book, having been a fan of the first ones years ago.

But I was disapointed. I was expecting so much more. Or I was maybe expecting something else.

I feel like the charactes lost their primary nature. (and seriously, Carmen story is just plain boring to me)

Any thoughts?

I was just soooo mad when I read what happened..I actualy lost sleep, but stick with it and it becomes a bittersweet story, especialy since you find out what you thought happened, was actualy something else that happened, and couldn't be helped... (sorry...trying not to spoil it for anyone else reading it now.)

I was dissapointed in Carmen as well...she was the most colorful character, but everything she seemed to learn in the last four novels seemed to have been lost on her.

Yeah, ''this'' part of the story was really sad. This part of the plot was really well managed.

But for all the other characters, it's like they learned nothing from what happened in the 4 first books. They were not so grown up to me

(and seriously, Eric? I'd like to have a boyfriend giving me 10K$ to ran away... lol)

I wasn't terribly impressed, and really expected more considering how much I liked the other books.
