Sad to see him go BIG BIRD....he was a good one for us for a few years!

KURODA will not back down on his no trade clause....said he would rather be loyal to his team than be in the play-offs.....classy guy he has been since he put on the blue.

My son texted me that Jimenez came out in the first inning for the trade.

Went to the game tonight against the Cubs. We lost :(

Gary, Furcal got a great reception when he came up to pinch hit. Nice seeing him wearing the birds on the bat. I was hoping he would have started. Tomorrow for sure.

BIG BIRD you have a very good shortstop, offensive and defensive, if he can shake off those injuries he has had in recent years. When he was hurt earlier this year he talked of retirement...I hope he has several good years ahead for your birds.

So :o last night my son calls about babysitting the GRANDdaughter this week, during the conversation he asks me..."pops, you watchin' the game?"...."no son, who are they playing tonight?"..."the padres :D"

Pretty :( when I start looking more at who they played the night before than who they are going to play or even watching the game of the day....:(

Don't get me wrong....I am watching but that GRANDdaughter comes first! ;)

Of course she comes first. She's your first granddaughter.

Just think how much fun you will have when you take her to her first game :)

Lots of emotion.

I do hafta say I am still so very proud of my guys trying to stick together from all the divorce crap...and to have guys on our team like Kuroda that are just #1 in CLASS...so far removed from our :p owner :p
