The shine of Hines is dulling a little with the criticism he got this week.
The STEELER NATION will keep Hines shining
    GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Hines!!!
  • Bye-bye Chris Jericho. He was definitely a multi-faceted individual and apparently a nice guy. At least he can go home to his kids.

I was disappointed in the Pia & Mark show. Neither the song nor the dance was show-stopping. *yawn*

New Kids on the Backstreet Boys was weird - the groups are not new or boys!!!

Next week 2 dances - thats sure to separate front runners from ...Kendra!
  • I thought the Macy's Stars of Dance did an awesome job with "Stand By Me". What a wonderful storyline.

I'm glad Ralph didn't go but I didn't want Steve to go, either.

    Who is Steve???
  • I am wondering who Steve is , also.
I have been thinking Chelsea may have a shot as winner but I dunno Romeo and Hines are looking pretty good. I give Romeo a slight edge.
  • I think Romeo is going home tonight. To me, he didn't even try yesterday.

And that guest judge - I hope they don't bring him back again with those stupid sayings and lame jokes.

At the beginning of the season my co-worker told me he read a story in the Nat'l Enquirer (sp?) (yeah I know) that there was a plan in motion to gurantee Kendra made it to the finals - looks he may be right.

    Apparently not..she went home tonight.

My input for the season as a whole (since I'm just now tuning in to the thread): The music choices have been questionable at times. Many times I have felt the choreographer did the best they could with the music they were given. I feel the judges are doing a much better job of not showing bias this season as compared to previous season. Overall, I feel this is one of the better seasons we have had in awhile.

One last thing: Having grown up in the Karate Kid era--- GO RALPH!!
  • First , I think "Steve" is Stone Cold Steve Austin another WWF wrestler who is branching out in other showbiz areas.

cbmare - you're absolutely right - Stand by Me was a good production number

So Kendra said bye-bye and she was ready as I thought she might be with all the other appearances she was making.

movemovemove - I second the guest judge banishment. And what was with the super-white teeth? He reminded me of Ross (Friends) when he over bleached his teeth!

Of the 5 left, Romeo is the weakest and will probably be the next to go.
  • Quote: Who is Steve???
Sorry. Chris. He just looks like a Steve to me. He told us what his real name is, maybe it is Steve.

I really think Kirstie is looking good. She has lost weight and looks more toned. Good for her!

New Kids on the Backstreet Boys......
  • Oh boy!!!

Poor Ralph. Man, he was doing so good and then this injury. I hope the votes are enough to save him.

Wow for Kirstie! Really the wow is for Maks for the great lifts he performed with Kirstie. She had a very good performance in the tango.

Chelsea and Mark did a great job as always.

Hines - JerseyGyrl can toot his horn. To me, he's still flat footing it.

Romeo - put more effort into it this week but the dance didn't rely on foot work which is a weak point for him too.

This elimination show is gonna be a nail biter.

    Hines in the semi finals
  • I must say. Romeo's attitude was wonderful. His praise of the dance and the message he left for kids, school and not giving up was inspirational.

I knew Kirstie was losing weight awfully fast. I hope she has increased her calorie count. She needs it for her stamina.

    Ralph is a trooper.
  • I was sorry to see Romeo go, I thought he was good , a natural performer. My predictions for the top 3......
    Hines
    Chelsea
    Kirstie
    OR
    Chelsea
    Hines
    Kirstie

I was hoping Ralph would make it to the semifinals.
  • I wish we could knew what dance the couples have to do next. If it plays to a strength or weakness, it affects the judge's score and then the results show.

I think it should end up this way:
    Chelsea
    Ralph
    Hines

Chelsea has a true talent for dancing, pure and simple. She's very good even with difficult moves and steps.

Jennifer Gray came back from injury to win, Ralph can come back and make it to the finals. Ralph is a class A1 performer but he's not as good as Chelsea. His partner and choreographer showcases him to the best advantage.

Hines and partner Kym are not spectacular together, good but not really special together. She does all the fancy stuff and there is no ingenuity in her choreographing to spotlight him. That may be her strategy and it shows. Just watch only his feet sometime.

Kirstie and Maks are good together and as much as I identify with the age and weight issues, she doesn't have good leg extension and neck extension. Her hair has been purposefully styled to conceal this. She has worn it down and long nearly every week except for the group jive.

cbmare - I agree about Romeo. His attitude turned around at the end and a nice message for young people. I still wish he would have smiled more.
