Default TMI: How I sprained my vagina at the gym:(

I don't mean to offend anyone; however, this is not fun at all!

I'm running on the treadmill at pretty good pace 5.2. To warm my legs up I stayed at 5.2 to help me run faster towards the end of my set. I reach 5.5 and I am feeling great after 20 min of running. Me, I feel super ambitious and I say, why not run the last 10 min at 6.5 or 6.8? Sure, why not? Umm because when you step off of the treadmill you will die! Guys, I step of the treadmil and immediately fall, but pretend like I meant to tie my shoes. Not to mention this is really effecting my workout endurance.

Has this happen to anyone. I've tried stretching and I'm not doing it again!

You shouldn't go from 6.8 to zero. Slow it down, walk for 10 minutes at slower and slower paces.

I usually bring it down to 3.5 and walk for a min or two, this has never been problem before.

You changed your workout, so you need to adjust your cool down as well.

I am so sorry for your pain, but your thread title cracked me up. I sometimes do up to 7mph sprints on the treadmill. When I cool down I go down to 4 for a couple minutes, 3 for a couple minutes and finally 2 for at least 1 minute. I've yet to sprain anything.

LOL, meanwhile, I'm walking around at my internship with a little waddle. Thanks guys. Even my mom laughed and she doesn't laugh at anything. I didn't even know you could sprain your vagina. I think I'm just going to stay at 5.8 from now on and stop at that!

I had the same "sprain" from a new bike a few years ago. I told my husband that after only 5 minutes of riding, I felt like the bike had sexually assaulted me. I actually just needed a wider bicycle seat.

My daughter rode her first big girl bike (with training wheels) this weekend. She actually biked for a mile! but half way through she kept exclaiming loudly "Mommy! My Vagina hurts!"

I wonder if she needs a wider seat and if they even make them for a 16" bike?!

Oh God, bikes have always killed my Va-Jay-Jay!! I have to get a special seat and my bike seat looks like I stole it from an old person's Lark or Hoverchair!! I have nightmares about spin bikes...

I totally won't ride the regular bikes at the gym for that reason. I biked for about 10 minutes, trying to just ignore the discomfort, figuring I'd get used to it. After 10 minutes I just couldn't do it anymore, and just ended my workout there because I couldn't even walk. The next day I was showering, and discovered my vagina was purple and bruised allll over. Ouch!

Hope you feel better soon, OP!
