This bring me back... I have been a nerd all my life, but I was super into anime when I was a teenager... unfortunately it wasn't cool then! It was really hard to find, expensive and no one else liked it!

Lol i know the feeling. I was into it alot when i was young too. Im 25 now and life pulled me away from it alot. And when i was young a had friends by bootlegs from the flea market.

That was me as well. Not as into it as I used to be but some of the old magical-girl shoujo stuff remain favorites of mine. I'm really looking forward to the Sailor Moon reboot that's supposed to come out next year!

Back in the day, I was really into Pokemon and Digimon, then I started to "mature" and got into Tenchi Muyo!, Magic Knight Rayearth and Evangelion. I'm 27 now, so I'm "over it" - but I still like it in a nostalgic way.

I was the nerdy girl at the anime conventions though in costume.
