Anyone see it? She looks adorable and so happy, I actually bought the magazine. I really enjoyed the article. So many success stories start out with, "and then one day I just got fed up and changed my whole darn life, never ate another slice of pizza, and started running marathons" and good for them, but that's just not me. It sounds like she started gradually with things she could handle, especially with exercise, and she's come a long way. I was really inspired and I'm going to hold on to this copy for a while.
There are also several other success stories with people who were counting calories and sticking between 1500 and 1800 calories. That's a HUGE relief for me to read. I can eventually get in the swing of 1500 but that is HARD for me to start off. I read somewhere that it's the "best number" for "most women" to lose steadily without plateaus or something so in my head it's the magical ideal. I'm glad to know that lots of people lose weight just fine sometimes going up to 1800.
