Crazy game so far.

7-5 Cards bottom of the 4th inning and we have gone to the bullpen.

Pitching not good tonight for either side.

It worked out, but it concerns me that Lowell pinched for Big Papi... the move seemed to 'change' the energy last night...
It was a night of the 'old' guys and the 'new' guys did the work... they are calling it a 'storybook' game... awesome !
I shut it off in the 5th but tuned in for the excitement
Hopefully tonight 'all' the guys will show up.. we are 5.5 games back..
I did see a JD Drew grab his back in pain at the plate... I hope it was 'nothin'...

OK guys... stay awake and enjoy your games

2nd inning and everyone on the field. Things could get ugly here.

Carpenter hit by pitch. Boy he was pissed off then he went into second base rather animated and the benches cleared.

I went to bed bottom of the 8th, I was tired

Game was tied and Cards score 5 runs in the 9th to win the series.

Ludwick hit by a pitch in the first.

Then Chris Carpenter the pitcher was hit by a pitch, his left wrist, in the second and he was really pissed off. Ball went up and in. He was very verbal going to first. Then double play ball to end the inning he ran hard to second and had words with the 2nd baseman, causing the benches to clear. Carps batting average is about .100.

Both teams warned. Carpenter apologized to the D'Backs and the umpire right after that and after the game.

So my Dodgers lost today to a kid that I saw pitch twice in high school...dang...a kid in a local high school...Fallbrook CA...that one of my best buddies son played for...Mike Leak of the Reds...his first major win....dang...

back to the NFL draft....

Rockies won yesterday. I guess we need Ubaldo Jimenez to win our games!! Going back home to play Florida. I know nothing about them, so we'll see how that goes.
