It's just me, hubby and our son again... nice and quiet. We'll cook a small turkey and I get to have a turkey sandwich with cranberries used as the mayo... MMMM!
I made swiss chard with mushrooms today for tomorrow. and the pork roast is in the fridge marinating in the dry rub. cranberry sauce is made. I think we have a go ahead, Houston... ready for take off.
Welllllllllllllllllllllllllll went to my sil's which is about 90 minutes away and we had car trouble. For 22 miles we were only able to go 40 mph up hill and then the bigger hills down we got to 60 mph! Very stressful!! The ticking on the flashers about sent me over the hill!! According to the "car manual" things might return back to normal...well as normal as it can be...after the car sits a bit. So we ate a VERY yummy dinner. I did okay. Not the best but not a binge either... About an hour after lunch we checked out the car and all the lights and bells and whistles were done making havoc with our lives! AND my DH 2 brothers were driving back to our town so they followed us. My poor mil was stressed 2. There is still a light on the dashboard that means I have to take it in. Bummer.
Right now I feel very compulsive....like I want to eat eat eat and eat some more... please say a prayer for me...as I need it.
