I'm in the middle of Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult.

ohhhh. I love Jodi Picoult's books. I have one of her books waiting for me, I can't remember which one, but, I'm still working my way through Dune. I'm not usually a Sci Fi reader so I'm reading it slower than I normally would.

I am working on Wicked the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. (trying it again.) If i put a book done too long i have to start a different one then go back to it.

amy tans the bonesetters daughter. in the middle so far its really good

I just started the next book in the House of Night Series -- Tempted! :D Love it so far!

Currently, I am reading "Toepicks, Cadaver Dogs, and Sports with No Balls" by Sherry Bosley. I am loving it....it is pretty much her thoughts on being a mom, her daughter's skating career, and other things in life. It's a quick read, but very amusing!!!

Next I plan on either reading "Book Club Selection" by Kathy Griffin or "19 Minutes" by Jodi Piccoult since I have been saying that I will read that book for years now! haha

I just started the Sookie Stackhouse series.

Right now I'm reading Dead until Dark. I'm almost halfway through it. It's pretty good so far even though I'm not fond of first person

I'm on the last two chapters of The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. It was an okay book. Next up, The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand

I am reading " The Reader " by Bernhard Schlink

I'm re reading my New Moon book since the movie will be coming out next week :D :D :D :D :D woooooo hoooo!

Last night started The Christmas Pearl by Dorothea Benton Frank

Crime and Punishment by Dosteyevsky - do like a good Russian novel!!

I just finished Replay, which is all about what you would do if you had to live your life over again (very cool) and now, I've just started Outliers, which is about success and the fact that it's not what it appears...only in the beginning of it, but so far so interesting! :)

Replay is one of my favorite books of all time.

I am desperate for a good novel. Haven't read one in ages.

Picoult's 19min is a great book.

Hmmm, maybe it is not a novel I am looking for.
I have a course in CA which means I am traveling (long flights) and hoteling all alone for 4 days and nights. I NEED BOOKS!!! Recommendations greatly appreciated. :)

Now is Replay the kind of book that will cause regret? Not looking for that.

Has anyone read The Great World Spin by Colm McCann? If so, what did you think of it? I just put it on my Christmas wish list based on a review by Frank McCourt.

I finished The Christmas Pearl (is it a novel with recipes, or a cookbook with a story? Half the book is recipes: Southern recipes, probably not very diet-friendly!) and started reading To All a Good Night (a collection of 3 contemporary romances) but don't know if that kind of sexy fare is really up my alley: so I stocked up on Wishin' and Hopin' by Wally Lamb (darn it, now Dusty Springfield's ghost moves into my brain cells and starts singing the same-named song) and 3 Xmas-themed cozy thrillers. Also gotta save room for the next Mary & Carol Higgins Clark holiday story (getting to be an annual habit) and something grittier, maybe go back to Hush, It's a Game or Slay Ride

I am in the middle of Perfect Life by: Jessica Shattuck. Like the storyline, but some parts seem to drag. Those I just skim over though.

Just finished the Molly Murphy series by Rhys Brown and The Fixer Upper by Mary Kay Andrews and have started in on The Crowning Glory of Calla Lilly Ponder

Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn. My daughter made me read the 1st, she couldn't stop me from reading the rest.

And now I has tickets for the premier on Nov 19th!

AND I am supposed to work at 8am the next morning.
I'm hoping I can do thae payroll the day before... we own the business.
But I just heard tonight that I have a meeting at 9am in my 2nd job.

I may have to resort to blackmail.................

lol i have to work the next day too.... i was contemplating on being :o:p(cough) sick. but my co workers know i wanna seee this and it doesnt help that ive been talking about it forever lol. but rain or shine night or day nothing can keep me away.. o god that sounds obsessed.lol I like that your daughter got u into the books i got my sister to see twilight and she now hooked on the movie. but she refuses to read the book lol thats okay shes just lucky to have a sister who can fill her in.. so she doesnt need to wait for the next movie .. :carrot:

I stayed up way too late last night finishing Thr3e by Ted Dekker.... I've liked a lot of his books but this one is my favorite by far!

Bulldozed my way through one of the stories in To All a Good Night and then switched to Antiques Flee Market by Barbara Allen

juggling three books right now! A collection of HP Lovecraft stories - very good! and some Robert Jordan prequel hubby insists that I read... but then I was at the bookstore the other day and surprise!! one of my favorite authors has a book out. So I dropped everything for Juliette Marrilier's Hearts Blood. So far, so good!

I finished City of Ashes & Nightlight (a Twilight paradoy-kinda stupid, but yet funny) yesterday. So I'm currently out of books to read. I may have to go to the store for City of Glass. I LOVE the MI books!!!

I just started this on Saturday... I have less than a hundred pages left...It's sooo good

I'm currently catching up on my three magazine subscriptions since I'm WAY behind!

I recently finished The Host by Stephanie Myers. It was phenomenal. I am a big Twilight fan as well and in my opinion The Host is even better...brilliant. I hope she plans a sequal to it.

Currently working on The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan (book 12 of the Wheel of Time Series) and Animal Farm by George Orwell

I'm a major Twihard. But someone told me that she isnt planning on a sequel. I wish she would though!!!!!

I'm reading.."City of Glass" by Cassandra Clare.

Currently reading Deadline by Simon Kernick!

I'm reading The Other Eden by Sarah Bryant. I'm usually more of an urban fantasy romance type... but I do have to say so far the tone and air of this has a bit of a supernatural feel to it. Though I suspect it will have a normal ending.

My next book planned is Sleeping with the Fishes by MaryJanice Davidson. Something nice and light to get my mind off things.

Omg..I LOVED Sleeping With The Fishes!!! I love the Queen Betsy books too!!
