My dear friend took this photo of me... I'm holding a baby goat at a farm near her home in NM. The reason I like this pic is that it reminds me of the awesome visit I just had with her, how happy I look... it inspires me to keep going.

Off topic: Yeah, I worked with rat brain too, but mine was limited to the cortex and hippocampus. I hated the microscope I used. Never showed the right colors .

I love cats, especially wild ones. And, one of my mantras has been to "enjoy the journey".

I truly believe that making this lifestyle change CAN be enjoyable. Life is short, and we need to make the most of each and every day.

I've seen too many chickies say, "when I reach x weight, THEN I will _________."

It makes me sad to see that.

I love cats, and I found this picture and it makes me smile when I see it. No big deep meaning, I guess!

Mine is pretty self-explanatory. I've used Windchime as a nickname around the 'net for over a decade now, and so when I was searching for an avatar, I found this picture and liked it. Someday maybe I'll change it out for a picture of me (when I feel brave!).
