Kids are done school and I get to sleep in and stay up late.
Teaching them some new life skills this week! Ha that is mommy's sneeky way of saying YOU GOT CHORES to do! They have not picked up on my sneekness yet!

We have a statue of what appears to be a clump of intestines in front of our courthouse. Take what you please with that image and blend with inuendo!

I finally broke down and got a little one so I can carry my phone, wallet and camera when the girls and I go to do family time. But, the stupid thing is driving me nucking futs!!! :tantrum:

I actually forgot to put my seatbelt on for awhile cause it was across my chest. I DON'T EVA FORGET THAT! This blows!!! :mad:

I flatout refuse to use a purse.
I have a backpack that contains half my life with room to spare for a book and my lunch and it goes everywhere with me. I never worry about having forgotten something when I change purses to match my outfit or any of that kind of stuff. I guess I am just not a girly girl, I am a jeans 'n t-shirt tomboy with a backpack.

I'm with you on the purse thing. My sartorially correct sister says I should use one as "It's the adult thing to do!" Duh! I have pockets and, in a pinch, stash things in my bra. (Set off the security in the airport once from my cell phone.) Back in the bad old days, I had an attache case and a frassing purse and kept losing the purse. I've yet to lose my bra.

EZ, have you considered a bra?

I rarely carry a purse and when I do I am highly likely to leave it behind or fret about leaving it behind. Since I stash stuff in my pockets, I have to keep pockets in mind when I buy clothes, which further limits choices. Sadly as sizes get smaller, so do pockets. I carry a small wallet, a personal cell phone, a company blackberry, a key chain with one electronic key and change daily.

I stash my badge and checkbook in my lunchbox. Whenever I decide I don't need my lunchbox as I'm eating out, I end up at work with no way to get in the building. :o (Receptionist doesn't get there will 7:45 to sign out a badge; I get there about 7:30)

Anytime I do start to carry a purse, it starts collecting junk - receipts, extra change, coupons, gift certificates, etc. - and getting heavy.
ETA: Hmmmm, just like my lunchbox is doing.

OK, so it was my mom that kept losing her purse. But, I was scarred by it. That's a big part of why I never really got in the habit.

But, now I'm out on the dating market again, so I don't really want my butt and boobs looking all lumpy and bumpy. :s: Money and ID are OK, but, the phone and the camera tend to throw off the "look" I'm going for. :eek:

That's why I got little, tiny one. It has just enough room for my phone and camera. I can get a few receipts in there, but, it'll have to be cleaned out regularly.

Yep, as we get old, everything start to hang and drag. Of course, you are much, much, much, much, much older than me, so I wouldn't know from personal experience. All my "stuff" is still in all the right places.
