Default Any Jane Austen fans here?

I just love her books. I just got through reading Pride and Prejudice for the second time and am now rereading Northanger Abbey.

OOOOOH YES!
I've read them all - several times.

I just love her sense of humour, but also her sly social commentary.
She's the best

I love Jane Austen. I think my favorite is Persuasion...it's a bit different from her other books. Slower, somehow more thoughtful and more mature. What are your favorite(s)?

I have to admit that I have only read 3 of them so far.......Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility and Northanger Abbey. My fav so far is P&P. I plan to buy the other 3 books in July because my finances this month don't allow any book purchases.

Dutchgirl...Jane is the best and I know what you mean about her sly social commentary. I love that.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite as well, it is just so funny in places.
I have to reread it every so often just because.
It was in fact also her favorite book.

I love Jane Austen! The first book I really read by her was Northanger Abbey which some scenes literally had me laughing out loud. I next read P&P and am working my way through Sense and Sensibility. Although S&S is my favorite story-wise, I'm not having an easy go of the book. I really want to read Persuasion and then Mansfield Park!
